Office and HR Manager

As Office and HR Manager my sole purpose is to provide a comfortable working environment for the Leapfrogg team to ensure their working life runs smoothly so they can focus on delivering fantastic work for our clients.

Within HR, I work closely with the Board and Managing Director to strategise, administer and implement HR processes across the business. My responsibilities include recruitment, performance management, motivational initiatives, values and company culture and learning and development. I also love to organise a good social shindig and most importantly have a giggle on a daily basis.

My experience spans seven and a half years at Leapfrogg! I started as the company administrator after graduating from university after completing a Fine Art degree and I was promoted to office and HR manager in 2013. Having come from an artistic background, I endeavour to inject creativity into everything I do at Leapfrogg.

I am currently studying for a CIPD HR diploma at Brighton City College to develop my knowledge and skills as an HR professional.

Outside of work you will find me:

  • Spending time with my lovely big family
  • Thrashing around the forest with my partner on our mountain bikes
  • Scouring charity shops, boot sales and vintage markets for unique clothing and homeware
  • Dancing around my flat to house music, I love a boogie!

Which retailer provides the best customer experience?

There isn’t one that stands out for me – but it’s important to me that shop staff make a real effort to be friendly and useful. It always frustrates me when shop staff don’t engage with you directly with a smile on their face – ‘have a lovely day’ goes a long way!
