Working in the Natural Search arm at Leapfrogg I assist clients during the optimisation of their website and provide ongoing consultancy. My day to day work includes providing consultancy on both usability and technical aspects of a website so they perform well in the search engines and satisfy usability guidelines to increase conversions.

Ever since I started at Leapfrogg as a trainee, usability has fascinated me (I’m aware this may make me slightly geeky)!. And I have to say the only bad thing about working in this area is that whether at work or home it really gets my goat whenever I come across a website which is totally unusable!

Things that make me jump for joy

Crisp sunny mornings, going on holiday, cream teas, eating in general, cheating at board games, really good bear hugs, singing along to songs on the radio even though I never know the words.

…and go hopping mad!

When you’re walking behind someone down the street and all of a sudden they just stop and you either crash into them or have to swerve out the way! Although…I have to admit it does make me chuckle to watch this happen to other people…
