I am green through and through having been a ‘frogger’ almost since day one (where have those five years gone?). Having left university and the bright lights of Liverpool I soon decided that my hometown in Hertfordshire just didn’t cut the mustard in terms of excitement and job prospects. So bag packed I moved to Brighton, met the MD Rosie at another agency and not long after that joined her in the humble surroundings of a living room to start the Leapfrogg empire!
My role has evolved from multi-tasking (yes, men can do that!) sales, marketing and account management to now focusing almost entirely on sales, along with helping to lead this merry and committed bunch of froggers!
Things that make me jump for joy
Sunday afternoons in the pub and the odd Saturday night in the club although getting on a bit now I feel rather old stood next to all these ‘emo’s’ and ‘new ravers’ (don’t call me granddad young man, I was there in the old days!), music; everything old and new from DJ’ing the latest house all the way through to listening to bands like Maximo Park, Kings of Leon and The Boss (that’s Bruce Springsteen!).
Rather predictably for a red blooded man I am a great lover of sport and like nothing more than playing football and hacking a golf ball around for four hours with friends, travel, red wine, thai food, cheese and watching Saturday Kitchen with a cup of tea and girlfriend sat at side.
And finally, Brighton…I love this city - moving here was life changing!
…and make me hopping mad!
Layabouts, political correctness, The European parliament and their petty intervention (if we want pints, we’ll have pints!), bad service, manufactured pop, messy people, drivers who cannot say thank you with a simple raising of a finger, making the unfortunate decision to support Spurs, not being able to make poached eggs!
